La Roche Guyon, our sublime village
You will surely understand, I can not help but start with the presentation of our village, La Roche Guyon.
We have an attachment to this village on the one hand because we spent many moments there as a family, and also because it is the wedding place of my parents, my husband and myself. It was indeed in the small Saint Samson church that Hugues and I said "yes" to each other on August 31, 2021.
Moreover, if you spend a Sunday, the association "Bien vivre à La Roche" tries to open it to the public. Take the time to stop there. You can have a little thought for us by imagining it filled to bursting, full of emotions with a gospel group in the background. If you want to know more click here.

La Roche Guyon can also be visited for its Castle full of history, its Dungeon, its gardens. I strongly advise you to take the time to visit it, to discover its underground passages, its monumental staircase to go up to the Keep, its dovecote... Want to know more : here.
It is as beautiful inside as it is outside. Not to be missed.
Finally, La Roche Guyon is also the pleasure of strolling along the banks of the Seine, lying down in the grass and enjoying the gentleness of this river; to admire the chalk cliffs that surround the village, the hall of the church and its antique dealers on weekends and of course its traders who offer quality products and a warm welcome. Small special mention to Ahmed our grocer, our baker and our butcher who allow us to keep a living village and to eat well.
